Terms & Conditions

Monthly plans

All paid plans operate on a monthly billing cycle. At the end of each billing period (lasting 1 month), you will be billed the monthly fee for your chosen FAQtory plan.

Your billing cycle begins from the date you first sign up, OR on the date you last performed a plan upgrade or downgrade (see below).

Billing

Your credit card statement will indicate the charge as FAQTORYAPP.com. Upon charging your card, you will receive an email receipt detailing the payment taken and the services rendered.

All transactions are denominated in UK Sterling (GBP). Any US Dollar prices shown on our site are indicative only. If purchasing from outside the UK, the transaction will appear on your credit card statement at an amount in your local currency which corresponds to the UK Sterling price translated at our bank's exchange rate for the transaction date. The Country of Merchant Domicile is the UK.

Upgrade or downgrade at anytime

On upgrading or downgrading your account, we bill for what is due in your current billing cycle (a daily fraction of the current monthly charge). Unless downgrading to a free plan, your new billing cycle will start again from that date, and the charge for your new plan will take effect at the end of this new billing cycle.

Downgrading

On downgrading your plan. We will automatically archive all of your oldest questions and uploaded files to fit within the new plan. If you decide to upgrade in the future, we will un-archive this for you. You must choose which sites you would like to archive yourself.

Please note that downgrading your service may cause the loss of content, features, or capacity of your account. We do not accept any liability for such loss.

Cancelling your account

If you cancel your account, all data associated with it will be deleted. If you are on a paid plan, we charge for what remains due in your current billing cycle (a daily fraction of the current monthly charge). We cannot issue refunds for partial or previous months.

Refunds

We currently DO NOT offer refunds for previously billed months. However if you believe you have been billed in error, please do let us know and we will look into the matter.

Security

All online credit card transactions are processed using secure (SSL) encryption via Barclays Merchant Services. We do not store or log any sensitive credit card details from these transactions.
